Restart Partners collaborated with the humanitarian organization SmartAID to launch a “Millions Masks for Children” initiative in Washington state, as part of the nationwide initiative to protect children from COVID-19. One million face masks were donated to children served by 5,427 child care and youth programs throughout Washington. Masks were also donated to children in migrant, refugee and tribal communities.  Similarly, one million more free masks were distributed to children in the State of Utah.  

SMARTAID‘s Millions of Masks for Children Initiative team celebrated their latest donation of 1M+ masks for children and 650,000+ bottles of hand sanitizer for vulnerable communities in the Los Angeles area with our friends at American Red Cross Los Angeles Region, Wellnest, FLTR, Inc., DHL, DHL Express and others. They have donated of 27,000 children’s masks to children served by Wellnest LA, masks to Children’s Institute – CII, Children Mending Hearts, Planet Hope and other nonprofits, serving thousands of children in need in the Los Angeles area.

To date, they have donated more than 3.3 MILLION children’s masks and hand sanitizer to vulnerable communities in more than 10 states thanks to the generous support of FLTR, which has donated all of the children’s masks and hand sanitizer, and DHL DHL Express which have both donated shipping.
